MY FACE PRODUCTS AND FACIAL ROUTINE

Hey dolls!!! I am currently residing in India and I am so happy with the new products I've purchased.
The products in the image above are it!

I do not use the products on a daily bases but two of them I do use daily.

(My daily facial cleanser is: Clearasil. You can buy it from CVS, Target or Walmart.)

I use the Vaseline healthy white and Gulabari rose water daily. I have heard many good reviews on the Vaseline healthy white, it is called healthy white for a reason, now do not get me started about "face whiting" and "lightening your complexion" because that is NOT why I use this product for, actually it is not to make you white, it is to lighten your blemishes, and dark spots on your face from sun light and pollution. I understand that many people think that whiting means to actually lighten your skin, but no its not that. It is just a serum type lotion that cleans your skin, brightens your skin tone, and soothes it so your natural skin complexion shows. Rose water is used first before putting on the Vaseline lotion. Rose water makes your face soft and removes the dirt from your face.

CAUTION: ALWAYS TEST ON ARMS BEFORE USING BLEACH ON FACE.
I understand that many women think before they bleach their face, and trust me, I used to be so scared of it, I thought that my face will have some kind of chemical reaction.  When I came across FEM bleach in India I did my research on it, and it is not harsh at all. It makes the dark hairs on your face blonde, and even brightens your skin tone, there are many varieties of the FEM bleach, one is saffron, one is gold, another is the original one, and so on. I chose the gold because after you leave it on your face for 15 mins, and wash it off, you get this golden glow on your face. I really think it makes my face look so bright, fresh, and the little hairs are all blonde, and I have this sun glow skin afterwards. I use this product once a month.  I purchased mine from India, but you can also find it at your local Indian grocers. The directions are inside the box, and always remember, test it on your arm hair before you smother it all over your face. Just so you can see if any redness or spots appear, since some people are very sensitive to bleach, always be careful and test it on arm or back of neck.

I ordered a organic natural jasmine soap online from India, the website is: www.medplusbeauty.com
This soap is my absolute favorite since it has no chemicals in it! Its all jasmine flowers and glycerin. The aroma is so sweet and floral, and when I gently lather it, the bubbles are thick and the foam is very dense, so I can massage my face with it. Just gently massage your face for 5 mins and you will see results. My face becomes so soft and silky that I feel like I received a facial treatment! I use it every two days.

No 7 is a brand from London, and it is a well trusted brand. It is hypo-allergic and good for sensitive skin. While my stop at Abu Dhabi airport last year, (I was just shopping at the airport for 2 hours. Well, what else was I supposed to do? :P) I purchased a No 7 under eye gel, since I was so tired during the flight, and at the time I had dark circles. So I purchased the product and I am still using it, its been one year and I really feel like it has worked well. I use it every time my eyes are dead tired and puffy in the mornings around 7-8 am. I use it every two days, after washing my face I apply it right under my eyes, just dab it on my dark circles and a little bit under my brow bone since my eyes get puffy in the morning time.

Last but not least, I purchased the Himalaya Herbals clarifying Mud pack
This mud pack I have been using for one month only and I did see results. It is a thick paste inside the tube, and you just need a quarter size on your fingers, just rub it on your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, all over neck (avoid eye and lips area) and leave it on for 20 mins. It will become very dry and your face will have a tingle feeling. Just wait and wipe if off with a cotton cloth, and cold water. I feel so hydrated and relaxed after the facial, it cleans out the pores on your skin, also removes dirt.

MY FACIAL ROUTINE: Basically after I bleach, I wash my face with water, and apply this Mud Mask. Then I wash my face with the natural organic jasmine soap, lather for 3-4 mins on my face and neck, wash it off with cold water, after that I apply No 7 under eye gel to soothe my eyes, I then take a cotton ball and pour some rose water and dab it on my cheeks, chin and forehead. Once that is finished I apply Vaseline Healthy White all over my face and neck.

I feel so hydrated, my skin is nourished and refreshed after using these products.

My skin feels beautiful afterwards.

I hope this helps you too :-)

Benefits of Sage and HOW TO MAKE SAGE HERBAL TEA

Sage is a herb native to the Mediterranean, belonging to the Lamiaceae (the mint) family along with other herbs, such as oregano, lavender, rosemary, thyme, and basil.

Nutritious - sage is rich in antioxidants (apigenin, diosmetin, and luteolin) and important nutrients, such as vitamin K.

"The rosmarinic acid in sage and rosemary also functions as an antioxidant. The leaves and stems of the sage plant also contain antioxidant enzymes, including SOD (superoxide dismutase) and peroxidase. When combined, these three components of sage—flavonoids, phenolic acids, and oxygen-handling enzymes—give it a unique capacity for stabilizing oxygen-related metabolism and preventing oxygen-based damage to the cells." (Whfoods.com)

I love to drink sage tea during the cold weather, especially when it is snowing or when it is just chilly outside. You may be wondering, "sage tea?!" Yes, I am serious. Sage is very aromatic and also it is very strong, so I will write step by step instructions on how to make Sage Tea.

Instructions:

  1. boil water in a kettle or a small steel bowl
  2. when the boiling starts, add one small teaspoon of sage (the more you add the saturated it will become, and the sage aroma will increase)
  3. depending on how much you want your tea to smell good, add sage, i like it little bit because the smell of the plant is very strong. The tea will taste bitter if you add too much. Add one tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Add one tablespoon of honey
  5. Now here comes the mix to the tea, add some tea flavor, any flavor you prefer. It can be green tea, oolong tea, peach, raspberry, any herbal tea you like. And make sure it is just one tablespoon of the tea, unless you have a tea bag.
  6. If you have a tea bag then just drop it in the mug, while you pour the sage tea over the bag.
  7. After some 5 mins, you can remove your tea bag or if you do not have a bag and you added the leaves directly just use a tea strainer.
  8. Your soothing, aromatic sage herbal tea will be ready
I hope you will enjoy drinking sage tea, since it will make you healthy.

Always remember you are what you eat, and DRINK! xoxo

Rice Water for Soft, Glowing Skin!

Did you know that rice water has so many benefits?
I never imagined that it did, but one day I was making my rice at home and the steam it produced on the stove caught my senses. It smelled so clean and fresh.

I do not like to use any toners, so I wanted to create my own.

While the rice was on full heat, boiling in the water, I drained almost all of it leaving 10% behind in a cup.
I cooled the cup in the fridge and after 20 mins I took it out.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Chilled rice water
2. Tissue
3. Cotton Ball

I dipped my tissue in the water and put holes on the tissue (eyes, nose, mouth area to breath)
Then I left it on my face for 2-3 mins
I took the tissue off, and applied rice water with a cotton ball over my face (avoid eyes)

Rice water cleans your face, gives your face a glow and makes pores on your face tight as well.
Since rice has carbohydrates, the water can be so healthy for your skin. Leaving your skin soft and your complexion brighter.

Once you patted the rice water all over your face, leave it on for about 20 mins, you can even leave it on the half of the day and wash your face with water.

You will see a difference after 1 week of this trail; hope you love it and it helps your skin! :)

ROSEMARY OIL HAIR TREATMENT for flaky scalp and thinning hair/ hair loss

You will need: Rosemary leaves and water. First boil the water, just one whole glass is okay. Once the water is boiling, add the rosemary leaves inside your pot. Make sure you have a good amount of rosemary leaves, not the whole packet, but a handful is fine. Let is boil until the water is all yellow and concentrated with the rosemary. It will also have a distinct rosemary aroma to it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Second, have a empty spray bottle ready, and add virgin coconut oil inside the spray bottle, after you add the oil, make sure to add the rosemary leaf water and mix both products well in the bottle. Shake, shake, shake!!! After that is done, make sure your hair is clean, and ready to spray it on your scalp, over your head and through your strands, you can comb through it while you add the spray, and also massage your scalp thoroughly. LEAVE IN FOR A WHOLE DAY, the next day you can take a bath or shower, and clean out your hair with light shampoo (not recommended  I just wash it with water personally, but if you want to use shampoo, that is also fine, I just wash with water because I want the oil to make my hair fresh and strong. Shampoo will clean the oil out, but the chemicals will come in your scalp again and the moisture wont stay for long. I prefer to just wash it with water the next day so my hair can absorb the moisture by the rosemary/coconut oil treatment. THIS IS FOR FLAKY SCALP AND HAIR LOSS!!! Hope it works well for you!!! :)
