WHAT I NEED TO BUY!

Hey hunnies, so I am currently in India, and I cannot buy some products that I want here because all the products that I want to purchase are available only in Canada or United States, India does not carry some of them.
I was shopping online at Ulta.com (ULTA) and I had so many products in my basket until I saw that they do not ship internationally :( Anyways I decided to just keep them in my profile, and when I get back to United States I am going to purchase them! :D
I am going to be sharing with you what I am going to buy, and why I am going to buy it!

I have heard so many positive reviews on both of these eye shadow palettes, and they both are very famous and well pigmented. I have seen many tutorials online, and people are seriously loving the quality of these eye shadows! Lorac Pro Palette and Naked 1 Palette are the two eye shadow palettes I want. Both of them are very different from one another.

  • Lorac Pro is all mixed colors, and a very flexible palette that suits light, medium and deep skintones. I love that it has 1/2 matte and 1/2 shimmer in it. It has a very black shade that is perfect for smokey eye look, and the matte shades are so in right now, its like buying 2 palettes in one since its 1/2 and 1/2.
  • Naked 1 has a very warm golden theme to it, so I guess it caught my attention but I just never got the opportunity to purchase it. I was waiting and now I really want it, so I cant wait to get my hands on it! I think it suits best on medium (olive, tan, brown) skin tones since it is very golden and yellow based. The shadows are mostly shimmer, I know there are 3 shades that are matte, but it is a pretty shimmery palette that has a very warm theme to it. So I really love warm theme since I have a tan skin tone.

  •  I think it is time for me to purchase the beauty blender, and I never purchased one yet so I want to try the Stila beauty blender to blend in my foundation correctly and have full coverage of the foundation and also concealer.

  • Real techniques is a very good brush brand that is affordable as well, it is not emptying out your pocket, I have one expert face brush from Real Techniques and I love it, you can use it to apply foundation, bronzer or blush. It is a very nice brush. After my experience with the brush I decided that I want the whole core collection face kit. It includes everything that you need such as foundation brush, contouring brush, powder brush and a detailed brush for concealer or corrector.

  • I already have the 2 in 1 bronzer-highlight duo from Lorac, and I really love using it since it gives my face definition. I love to use the bronzer to contour sometimes, but the bronzer in the duo is very matte, so I love this baked tantalizer, I think it will look beautiful on any skin tone, its so goldenand shimmery. I love gold!

  •  Bare Minerals is a known brand that is very safe and hypo-allergic, plus I need a setting powder after my foundation, (currently have the MAC sheer loose powder but its almost out) and I am going to go for the bare minerals clear radiance all over color powder. I have heard many people say that they really like this, it clears your skin, makes you feel very fresh and have a glow. It is a dewy finish, and I am into that dewy look right now, I think it makes you look very radiant and fresh. This will be perfect for a setting powder because it has that luminous glow in it and also a hint of color that will make you stand out. So I can't wait to purchase it!

Thank you for reading! These are the things that I want for now, in my opinion (after research) they are well suitable for me :)

If any of you also want these products they're available at Ulta or the product websites. These are just what I want and once I will buy them I will keep you updated and post up pictures, and have swatches of everything!

xoxo

MY FACE PRODUCTS AND FACIAL ROUTINE

Hey dolls!!! I am currently residing in India and I am so happy with the new products I've purchased.
The products in the image above are it!

I do not use the products on a daily bases but two of them I do use daily.

(My daily facial cleanser is: Clearasil. You can buy it from CVS, Target or Walmart.)

I use the Vaseline healthy white and Gulabari rose water daily. I have heard many good reviews on the Vaseline healthy white, it is called healthy white for a reason, now do not get me started about "face whiting" and "lightening your complexion" because that is NOT why I use this product for, actually it is not to make you white, it is to lighten your blemishes, and dark spots on your face from sun light and pollution. I understand that many people think that whiting means to actually lighten your skin, but no its not that. It is just a serum type lotion that cleans your skin, brightens your skin tone, and soothes it so your natural skin complexion shows. Rose water is used first before putting on the Vaseline lotion. Rose water makes your face soft and removes the dirt from your face.

CAUTION: ALWAYS TEST ON ARMS BEFORE USING BLEACH ON FACE.
I understand that many women think before they bleach their face, and trust me, I used to be so scared of it, I thought that my face will have some kind of chemical reaction.  When I came across FEM bleach in India I did my research on it, and it is not harsh at all. It makes the dark hairs on your face blonde, and even brightens your skin tone, there are many varieties of the FEM bleach, one is saffron, one is gold, another is the original one, and so on. I chose the gold because after you leave it on your face for 15 mins, and wash it off, you get this golden glow on your face. I really think it makes my face look so bright, fresh, and the little hairs are all blonde, and I have this sun glow skin afterwards. I use this product once a month.  I purchased mine from India, but you can also find it at your local Indian grocers. The directions are inside the box, and always remember, test it on your arm hair before you smother it all over your face. Just so you can see if any redness or spots appear, since some people are very sensitive to bleach, always be careful and test it on arm or back of neck.

I ordered a organic natural jasmine soap online from India, the website is: www.medplusbeauty.com
This soap is my absolute favorite since it has no chemicals in it! Its all jasmine flowers and glycerin. The aroma is so sweet and floral, and when I gently lather it, the bubbles are thick and the foam is very dense, so I can massage my face with it. Just gently massage your face for 5 mins and you will see results. My face becomes so soft and silky that I feel like I received a facial treatment! I use it every two days.

No 7 is a brand from London, and it is a well trusted brand. It is hypo-allergic and good for sensitive skin. While my stop at Abu Dhabi airport last year, (I was just shopping at the airport for 2 hours. Well, what else was I supposed to do? :P) I purchased a No 7 under eye gel, since I was so tired during the flight, and at the time I had dark circles. So I purchased the product and I am still using it, its been one year and I really feel like it has worked well. I use it every time my eyes are dead tired and puffy in the mornings around 7-8 am. I use it every two days, after washing my face I apply it right under my eyes, just dab it on my dark circles and a little bit under my brow bone since my eyes get puffy in the morning time.

Last but not least, I purchased the Himalaya Herbals clarifying Mud pack
This mud pack I have been using for one month only and I did see results. It is a thick paste inside the tube, and you just need a quarter size on your fingers, just rub it on your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, all over neck (avoid eye and lips area) and leave it on for 20 mins. It will become very dry and your face will have a tingle feeling. Just wait and wipe if off with a cotton cloth, and cold water. I feel so hydrated and relaxed after the facial, it cleans out the pores on your skin, also removes dirt.

MY FACIAL ROUTINE: Basically after I bleach, I wash my face with water, and apply this Mud Mask. Then I wash my face with the natural organic jasmine soap, lather for 3-4 mins on my face and neck, wash it off with cold water, after that I apply No 7 under eye gel to soothe my eyes, I then take a cotton ball and pour some rose water and dab it on my cheeks, chin and forehead. Once that is finished I apply Vaseline Healthy White all over my face and neck.

I feel so hydrated, my skin is nourished and refreshed after using these products.

My skin feels beautiful afterwards.

I hope this helps you too :-)

Benefits of Sage and HOW TO MAKE SAGE HERBAL TEA

Sage is a herb native to the Mediterranean, belonging to the Lamiaceae (the mint) family along with other herbs, such as oregano, lavender, rosemary, thyme, and basil.

Nutritious - sage is rich in antioxidants (apigenin, diosmetin, and luteolin) and important nutrients, such as vitamin K.

"The rosmarinic acid in sage and rosemary also functions as an antioxidant. The leaves and stems of the sage plant also contain antioxidant enzymes, including SOD (superoxide dismutase) and peroxidase. When combined, these three components of sage—flavonoids, phenolic acids, and oxygen-handling enzymes—give it a unique capacity for stabilizing oxygen-related metabolism and preventing oxygen-based damage to the cells." (Whfoods.com)

I love to drink sage tea during the cold weather, especially when it is snowing or when it is just chilly outside. You may be wondering, "sage tea?!" Yes, I am serious. Sage is very aromatic and also it is very strong, so I will write step by step instructions on how to make Sage Tea.

Instructions:

  1. boil water in a kettle or a small steel bowl
  2. when the boiling starts, add one small teaspoon of sage (the more you add the saturated it will become, and the sage aroma will increase)
  3. depending on how much you want your tea to smell good, add sage, i like it little bit because the smell of the plant is very strong. The tea will taste bitter if you add too much. Add one tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Add one tablespoon of honey
  5. Now here comes the mix to the tea, add some tea flavor, any flavor you prefer. It can be green tea, oolong tea, peach, raspberry, any herbal tea you like. And make sure it is just one tablespoon of the tea, unless you have a tea bag.
  6. If you have a tea bag then just drop it in the mug, while you pour the sage tea over the bag.
  7. After some 5 mins, you can remove your tea bag or if you do not have a bag and you added the leaves directly just use a tea strainer.
  8. Your soothing, aromatic sage herbal tea will be ready
I hope you will enjoy drinking sage tea, since it will make you healthy.

Always remember you are what you eat, and DRINK! xoxo

Rice Water for Soft, Glowing Skin!

Did you know that rice water has so many benefits?
I never imagined that it did, but one day I was making my rice at home and the steam it produced on the stove caught my senses. It smelled so clean and fresh.

I do not like to use any toners, so I wanted to create my own.

While the rice was on full heat, boiling in the water, I drained almost all of it leaving 10% behind in a cup.
I cooled the cup in the fridge and after 20 mins I took it out.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Chilled rice water
2. Tissue
3. Cotton Ball

I dipped my tissue in the water and put holes on the tissue (eyes, nose, mouth area to breath)
Then I left it on my face for 2-3 mins
I took the tissue off, and applied rice water with a cotton ball over my face (avoid eyes)

Rice water cleans your face, gives your face a glow and makes pores on your face tight as well.
Since rice has carbohydrates, the water can be so healthy for your skin. Leaving your skin soft and your complexion brighter.

Once you patted the rice water all over your face, leave it on for about 20 mins, you can even leave it on the half of the day and wash your face with water.

You will see a difference after 1 week of this trail; hope you love it and it helps your skin! :)

ROSEMARY OIL HAIR TREATMENT for flaky scalp and thinning hair/ hair loss

You will need: Rosemary leaves and water. First boil the water, just one whole glass is okay. Once the water is boiling, add the rosemary leaves inside your pot. Make sure you have a good amount of rosemary leaves, not the whole packet, but a handful is fine. Let is boil until the water is all yellow and concentrated with the rosemary. It will also have a distinct rosemary aroma to it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Second, have a empty spray bottle ready, and add virgin coconut oil inside the spray bottle, after you add the oil, make sure to add the rosemary leaf water and mix both products well in the bottle. Shake, shake, shake!!! After that is done, make sure your hair is clean, and ready to spray it on your scalp, over your head and through your strands, you can comb through it while you add the spray, and also massage your scalp thoroughly. LEAVE IN FOR A WHOLE DAY, the next day you can take a bath or shower, and clean out your hair with light shampoo (not recommended  I just wash it with water personally, but if you want to use shampoo, that is also fine, I just wash with water because I want the oil to make my hair fresh and strong. Shampoo will clean the oil out, but the chemicals will come in your scalp again and the moisture wont stay for long. I prefer to just wash it with water the next day so my hair can absorb the moisture by the rosemary/coconut oil treatment. THIS IS FOR FLAKY SCALP AND HAIR LOSS!!! Hope it works well for you!!! :)

Sally Girl Glitter Eyeshadow

Hey lovelies!!! I have been to a wedding recently and I did my eye make up. I wanted a glitter shine on my eyes, so the best shadow I found was Sally Girl Glitter and Sally girl eye shadow from Sally Beauty!!!                                                                                                                                                                       First I apply eye shadow Primer                                                                                                                 Second I apply the blue eye shadow with my shadow brush all over my eye lid                                                   I blend it all until I get the color                                                                                                                 Third, once the blue color is on, I apply the Sally eye glue (for the glitter to stay on)                                       Fourth, I apply a small amount of gold (or silver if you want) glitter on my eye lid, not all over the crease, but stay on the lid and middle of the eye, because you dont want to have glitter fall out.           Fifth, once the glitter is on, fix the corner of eyes with the blue shadow and ,make sure if glitter falls, wipe it, and cover it with your concealer under your eyes (you dont want the glitter to be stuck in your concealer)                                                                                                                               Sixth, in your inner corner of the eyes, apply a small amount of gold shimmer eye shadow, I use Urban decay gold shadow.                                                                                                                               THE LOOK IS COMPLETE!!! I HOPE YOU LOVE IT!

BENEFITS OF GREEN TEA!!!

You want to learn more about the benefits of Green tea?
I think you should!
IT is very beneficial!

1. Green tea is full of anti oxidants
What are anti oxidants?
  • "All teas from the camellia tea plant are rich in polyphenols, which are a type of antioxidant. These wonder nutrients scavenge for cell-damaging free radicals in the body and detoxify them" (John Weisburger, PhD, senior researcher at the Institute for Cancer Prevention.)
2. Green Tea is very concentrated!
  • Green Tea is very concentrated because the leaves are withered and steamed in its process. The leaves are not fermented like oolong or black teas. When you even make it, you boil the water and the leaves, the water is very concentrated, and the more concentrated it is, the healthier!

3. Green Tea  is a excellent source of WEIGHT LOSS!
  • "Studies have also shown green tea extracts are capable of reducing fat digestion by inhibiting digestive enzymes. Others have shown thermogenic properties of green tea (probably brought on by the interaction between its caffeine content). Thermogenesis is the process of the body burning fuel (fat) without making chemical energy (the calories are released as heat) www.freedieting.com

SEA GREEN EYES

Hey babes!!!
I called this look "Sea green eyes"
This is how it looked on me!!!

I really love light green and emerald green color because I think if you apply green eye shadow, it makes your eyes pop, green also makes your eyes look so bright and especially if you have dark brown or brown eyes like mine, green will make your dark eyes look so much more big and beautiful!

This is what YOU need:
1.Urban Decay primer potion...or ANY primer will do! If you do not have the primer, you can use the NYX Shadow base, which is same as primer, except it is a eye shadow cream base. ( I love it)
2. Green shadow from Stila island of Fiji collection pallete (limited summer edition) IF you don't ave green by Stila, that's OK! You can use any green eye shadow!!! Like M.A.C, Revlon cream shadow pallete is nice too, it has a little shimmer to it.
3.  Palladio black liquid eye liner
4. Any mascara, I dont have mascara on for this look because I avoided mascara that day. But you can top it off with mascara!!!

  • You first apply the primer, then apply the green eye shadow, you can keep blending until you get the color you want. I wanted a very light sea green look, so I made mine light.
  • Then after you are done blending, go over your eyes with the liquid eye liner. (you can wing it if you'd like. or make it thick. I preferred it to be thin line, looking natural.)

  • I also applied some concealer under the eyes, because since I have dark features my under eye circles can get bad, especially if I do not get enough sleep. So I apply my under eye concealer. It is by PHYSICIANS FORMULA! Its only like $5.99! And physicians formula is a good brand, does not have any harmful chemicals that will effect that thin skin that is under the eye area.

HIGHLIGHT AND CONTOURING your FACE!!!

I always use Kim K's picture and see how she contours her face, because I know her makeup artists do such a superb job on her. Make her look flawless!
One thing I love about this picture is that it shows where to highlight and where to contour!

When you high light, that makes your features stand out and when you counture that makes your face shape stand out and also it sculpts your face into what YOU want it to look like. Kind of like an illusion, but hey its make up and make up does wonders!

I know Kim Kardashian uses all different kinds of products on her face, more of M.A.C and Make up forever products.

I actually have my high light and contour from LORAC
And my other bronze highlight is also by Tarte.

MY OBSESSION!!!

I love the this miniature Sephora by O.P.I nailpolishes
I got these from Sephora just for $7.99
It was a summer collection so I picked it up last year (2012), I hope they will have more colors like these this year!!!
My favorite color was pink and tan!

Light Natural Everyday Makeup for Eyes

HEY DOLLS!!!
So this is how I do my eye makeup, its just a natural every day look.

I first put on moisturizer on my face. I use Cetaphil face lotion. Apply my M.A.C loose powder all over my face and add some Covergirl pink blush on cheek bones (you can get it at Walmart, K mart any drug store!)

The products I have are:
1. Palladio liquid eye liner
-you can buy it from Sally Beauty Supply and the color is black.
2. Bronze eye pencil by sephora, its the nano pencil only for $5.00!
3. Urban decay eye pallet, color is half baked
-I got mine from Sephora!
4. CoverGirl eye pallet color is light brown.
- You can get it from walmart, find any brown and tan shades.
5. Urban Decay Primer potion

I do not have any mascara on because Its supposed to be a very natural look, and I decided not to wear any mascara.

  1. First I add my primer all over my eye lids and bottom lashes area.
  2. I then start to add Half baked by sephora and blend it in all over the eye lid
  3. After that is on all over, I apply some brown color from my CoverGirl pallet, I blend until I get the color I desire.
  4. After I blend it all, and get the color I want, I add little bit of the tan shade on top to make it more natural and give it a tan-ish glow shine.
  5. Once I am done with my eye shadow blending, I add the liquid eye liner and and I do not make it dramatic or give a wing, I just add it on the lash line and make sure that it is the way my eye is shaped, so I make it like almond shape.
  6. Once I am done with the liquid eye liner, I focus on the bottom lash line
  7. I color inside the waterline and also on the inner and outer corners of my eyes, to give it that bronze pop.you can keep coloring it and make it dark or you can just add one layer, it depends on how light or dark you want it. I make sure I color it 3 times, so I can get that bronze shade on the bottom lash and waterline. I love bronze!

I HOPE THIS HELPS FOR THOSE WHO DO NATURAL EYE MAKE UP DAILY AND LOVE A NATURAL LOOK :)

Benefits of WALNUTS (Walnut Facial Scrub)

EAT WALNUTS THEY'RE GOOD FOR YOU!
Help hair grow. eyelashes grow, skin glow, and keep your body healthy!

Walnuts are mainly a rich source of vitamin B and E
They contain omega 3- fatty acids which is the essential fat that we should consume. The fact is that omega-3 fats are healthy fats.

Walnut oil is good for dry skin since it contains linoleic acid and it can make your skin look radiant and have a youthful glow

HOW TO MAKE THE FACIAL:

  • Fresh cup of yogurt
  • Add about 1/2 cup walnuts
  • Crush the walnuts, don't make them dust, but make it like they are very tiny but crunchy and add them in the fresh cup of yogurt. Mix it all very well!!!
Leave the facial on for 20 mins and scrub in a circular motion all over face (Avoid eye area)

Just wait until 20 mins and wash your face with lukewarm or cold water.

You will feel very fresh! And see a difference!

Benefits of OLIVE OIL

I always put a little bit of olive oil on a Q tip and dab some on my lashes before I sleep.
It makes my lashes more moist and I feel like I am taking good care of them because I know Olive oil contains antioxidants! It is also a great skin moisturizer, in part because it contains linoleic acid, a compound not made by the body, but which prevents water from evaporating.

I also enjoy drizzling it on my salad for taste :-)

White Eye Liner Review

WHITE EYELINER? WHY NOT?!

I recently purchased this NYX White eye pencil from Ulta and these are the reasons I use it for:

  •  Use it in waterline so it can also create the illusion of  more bigger and brighter.
  • It can be used to trace the preferred shape around your eyebrows when shaping them to prevent from over plucking/tweezing.
  • It can be used in the inner corner of your eyes.
  • Highlighting your brow bone
Hope I helped :)

NUDE LIP AND SMOKEY EYES

Honestly, we all are aware on how beautiful a woman looks when she has that smokey eye and nude shiny lips!!!

First, in my opinion, M.A.C eye shadows have very high pigments  therefore, the colors will be noticed on your eyes.
The eyeliner I use currently is by Lancome, it is black in color.
Mascara is Zoom by M.A.C
The foundation that I use is Studio Fix by M.A.C
My blush is by Lorac, which has very bright bronze and lush pink colors in their line, kind of suitable for dark tan, medium tan, wheatish skin tones.
Illuminator by cheekbones is by M.A.C
concealer is ALMAY, Almay is found in any drug stores. Its a soft liquid concealer, and it does hide your under eye circles.
I have many revlon Lipsticks, revlon has been my favorite drug store brand for my lipsticks.
My higher end brand is Lancome and second is M.A.C
I love M.A.C because it really suits my skin and I feel beautiful when I use it's products on my face. I see a difference.
I use Lancome mostly for eyeliner, reason is because the kohl eyeliner glides on so well!!!

HOW TO GET SILKY SHINING HAIR!!!

Gosh, don't you love her hair? I sure do!!!

First and foremost the best way to make your hair silky and soft is by using coconut oil and or olive oil.
Extra virgin olive oil has many vitamins and nutrients so when you add some on to your scalp and hair, your hair will absorb the vitamins it contains, therefore, it will be very silky.
Coconut oil, makes the hair healthy and thick. If you have thin hair, it is perfect!
Just apply if before you sleep and wash it out next morning!
You can find it online amazon.com
or even if you find a local Indian or Mediterranean Market, it will be sold there!!!

KOHL EYELINER

The sexiest way to do the eye makeup is the dramatic Arabian look. Use Kohl to define and you should draw the pencil around your eyes so you can make the eyes look brighter and bigger.
